Saigon Today

The hairdryer is back -- I mean when the wind changes and the breeze is as hot as the temperature all around you -- it's time to get your sweat on. The hot season is here in Saigon, as this unusual weather forecast shows.

weather

Scattered thunder storms for this week in Ho Chi Minh, although no rain. I miss the lightning shows of the wet season....bring it on!

Hello. I found out about your blog via Noodlepie.com and feel like I'm stumbled upon a goldmine!

Thanks for your posts about Vietnam and thanks for writing so well about the country and people. I definitely plan to be a repeat visitor.

I especially like your posts on the pace of development in Saigon. I was born in VN and it's surprising how rapidly things are changing.

I look forward to your blog entries and congratulations on your new life as a married man.

You said something about no rain? Hehe, and so it begins...

Haha, I jinxed it Henno. Let me tell you, it's not a good time to NOT have a mudgaurd on the back wheel of your motorbike, which is exactly what I have thanks to backing into a wall.
