The shopping complex, covering over 42,000 square meters, will get off ground this year for completion after 18 months to two years of construction, said Hoa. I may of course be wrong, but something is going up here and this is the only prime piece of land left in Phu My Hung to be developed.
That's what we need, ANOTHER shopping center, ANOTHER supermarket, ANOTHER cineplex....

No, this project is Happy Valley, which is conducted by Phu My Hung.
The mall you said is SC Vivo City, it is located near Nguyen Huu Tho - Nguyen Van Linh intersection.
How about they try to sell all of the units in the existing shopping centres first? I can't believe they're building a new Vincom. I've been there twice in nearly 2 years, and both times, there were massive sections of it not being rented. I can only assume it's more about the real estate investment rather than actually running a profitable mall?
There will be some high-rise apartments at that site, not a mall.

Yes as Binh Dong mentioned the project you linked is Vivo City, a joint venture with Saigon co op. The plot of land next to Sky garden.

@Jon Hoff: Are you living in PMH now? I saw your many interesting updated pictures in PMH and Nha Be new town. You can also update in central area, many nice projects there. :D
Everyone has given good response and as a my opinion there will be a big play ground for kids, so they can improve them playing skill.
